I was much surprised at cheerful songs from Magpies throat

Why does my 3rd imprisonment stir up their quiet n kind mind

I was thrown into Room two two one an hour later
4 L0 [: D/ K; g4 sIn about a month I couldn't hear anything from them any further* V! E8 O* p6 N5 ^" D; e
When I was moved to Room two one four8 w [ m% l# E" r/ q- {% z
I heard their pleasant singing once more

I could see them dancing on the roof of top floor

) f# c2 |' @: |# m. KTheir visit always broght some one out of the iron gate

After the big snow storm at mid-spring night

The old saying rushed thru my head with hatred n love

Despair shouted n my blood run out

Standing proud at the iron rod on the roof
